Whereas in the 1970s the Politie Nederland (DNP) tended to focus largely on the investigation of criminal offences, DNP now also puts considerable emphasis on crime prevention. This shapes the performance of DNP core tasks, such as patrolling the streets and other public places, maintaining public order, investigating criminal offences and providing assistance in emergencies.
Main project tasks
DNP will contribute to the development of the evaluation toolkit and its pilot. DNP will also help identify a group of suitable end-users for communication and dissemination purposes.
